happen是什么意思

1.happen, occur两者都可以表示“突然的偶然发生”，常常可以互换通用：

此时两个词只是仅仅happen是普通常用词；occur比较正式。

New things are happening all around us.

我们身边总有新事发生。

I dread to think what will happen in the case of a major emergency.

我不敢想在重大紧急情况下会发生什么。

Accidents like this happen all the time.

此类事故经常发生。

I'll be there whatever happens.

take place phr. v. 发生，举行；主要用于事先计划好的事情。用于正式场合较多。Great changes have taken place in China.中国发生了翻天覆地的变化。

The parade will take place on Sunday, rain or shine.

庆祝游行定于星期日举行，风雨无阻。

arise一般用于表示不在预期内出现的问题，困境或者机会等。

注意：arise是比较正式的表达，口语中一般使用come up.

A crisis arose as soon as he left the company. 他刚从公司离开，危机就发生了。

以上词都是不及物动词不用被动语态。且不能接宾语。请细品：
